Hi guys!

I’ve always gotten help from MacRumors, but I thought I should give some help this time. I am an Android user with Mac, and I was looking for best browser to sync together. Chrome gives the best sync option, but I’m pretty sure there are quite a few of you who don’t like Chrome because it doesn’t have as smooth scrolling as Safari. Chrome is better than Firefox in terms of smoothness, but it still doesn’t come close to Safari.
Opera is also not as smooth. Trust me, I’ve tried all browsers that is multi-platform, and non of them was as smooth as Safari, and especially websites like YouTube, play.google.com, MacRumors, and many others, All other browsers were a bit choppy. Once everything is completely loaded, it’s close to Safari, but still not as smooth.

So…I came across this browser: Maxthon. I used it a long time ago, but it was also pretty laggy at the time. But I think they have a new version, which is on Mac App Store. It’s super smooth, just like Safari. It’s exactly like Safari when scrolling.
NOTE: Classic version on Maxthon website is NOT smooth. It’s uglier too. BUT classic version is the only one that supports extensions at the moment.

I tried syncing with Android, and Tab and Bookmark sync seems fine. But credit card sync doesn’t seem to work. Maybe it doesn’t have that feature yet.

Also, the browser uses old version of Google search, which is a bit annoying to use. Maybe it’s just me.

Lastly, Google talk plugin does’t work. Even after downloading the plugin, it keeps telling me to download it.

There are definely some things to be ironed out, but I really like this browser way more than Chrome, especially if you want a browser to sync data. The reason is the smoothness. I’m one of those who notices slightest stutters , and difference between 30fps and 60fps.

If you guys download it, maybe we should all leave a review on Mac App Store for improvements, so that they update it. :)

Thanks for reading!
