My iPhone froze one day. So I rebooted it. And now when it turns on. The Apple Logo comes on. And a little while in the middle starts to spin. Then stop spinning. I tried to put it into Restore mode. But When I hold down both Home and power. It Turns off. Then I let go of the Power. Hold home..But the iPhones battery is dead. So I have to unplug the cord And put it back in to enter Restore mode. But when I take it out..The iPhone dies..Which cancels Restore mode..

Any help?

Its an iPhone 3G Jailbroken on 3.1.3

try leaving it plugged in for a while. Mine was flat out dead (restored it and it wouldn't boot past spinning icon) and after being plugged into my comp with itunes open for about 15-18 minutes, it started working completely.
