I've been a follower of Apple for a few years now and find the whole product announcement thing frustrating but also exciting.

But with all these rumours I was thinking - who really knows what the new iPhone is like? Obviously Apple's own management, design and marketing depts. and the manufacturers, but what about other Apple employees? Do companies like O2 and Verizon know? Do manufacturers of accessories know?

And that Chinese blog with photos of the car speedo - if those are real how did that person get a new iPhone?? And how would Apple let a pre-production model get out of their grip?

Apple must spend a fortune keeping upcoming stuff secret. If only they had $29bn tucked away somewhere...

It sometimes happens case manufacturers have hints related to sizes and shapes in order for them to be ready but it also happened for them to be wrong, like for the inexistent iPhone nano.
The translations of the chinese owner of the "new iPhone" say someone from the US gave it to him, and it's a prototype with new internal hardware in an old case.
For whoever really knows there's someone else looking for attention claiming they know but they really don't:)
