Anybody else getting this message?

This copy of the Install OS X Yosemite Beta application can't be verified. It may have been corrupted or tampered with during downloading.

If you downloaded from the MAS, download it again. if you downloaded it from another source, steer clear.

I downloaded it from the app store thru the public Beta program. Now I can't seem to re-download it.

Same here, I downloaded it from the MAS but the file was corrupted and now the store is greyed out as "Downloaded" without any option to re-download. Refreshing the beta website does not generate a new code, and holding "option" while clicking on the "purchases" tab within the MAS does not allow any option to download/install.

Remove the app "Install OS X Yosemite Beta" from Applications, clear the Trash and try to see if it works to download the app again from the App Store

This worked form me. All is installed and running well.

Hi there

I downloaded a copy of this 3 times through the App Store on my Mac Mini 2012 and I'm still getting the same error as the OP. I even tried downloading it through one of my other Macs (through the App Store, same ID) but still not working. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Same Problem

i've redownloaded twice - on redownload number 3. All from the app store. Running mavericks on first 15 retina macbook pro.

This is happening to me as well. I've tried to redownload it after deleting like was said here to do but when I hit download it jumps right away to downloaded and has a full progress bar in launchpad. Only after a while will the application pop up and give me the same answer if I try to do so. Does it matter that I'm trying to install it on a partition maybe?

I am getting this same error trying to install it on an internally connected SSD in my 2010 Mac Pro. I'll give this a try a bit later today.

Thanks for the tip!

Deleting and redownloading is not working for me. Does anyone have details on the download file so we can compare a working one to one that is throwing this error?

same problem still

I have this same issue. I have deleted and redownloaded three times now ith no luck. Anyone find the source of this issue yet? First gen 15" retina Macbook Pro

Make sure your system time and time zone is correct, if this is happening on a clean install then you'll have to launch Terminal and enter a command to change the date

Still having the problem

I have verified that the date, time zone and time are correct on my computer.
The last download was done via ethernet and still no luck.

I haven't reset the time using terminal, don't know how. This is what I get.......

Good news

After six tries downloading and installing, 4 via wifi and two more via ethernet, I finally got past the error message and it is now installing. Didn't make any changes other than using ethernet.

(by the way, my internet speed is pretty good)

Setting Date and time via terminal fixed this for me

attempted to install Yosemite via USB on erased hdd, got the 'this copy..cant be verified' error, opened terminal, entered 'date' command, system date and time were completely off, entered 'date' command with mmddhhmmyr format: date 1112105014, confirmed date again, restarted install and it worked immediately.
