I hope this is the right place for this I couldn't think of a better place.

this is just speculation on my part but how great would it be if someone made a FW800 thumb drive? does anyone know if this is happening or is the market too small for something like this? maybe it will be more ideal when FW1600 is more readily available.

There are a few FW "thumb drives" around, though the major trump with them is that the memory is the bottleneck, not the connection type. However, I for one, would love to see this happen.
