I was wondering how can I get that bottom thing (that nice gradient) that has the time, weather and date?

I couldn't find how to get the gradient on the bottom

It doesn't really look like a gradient to me, more of a transparency. If you want a gradient, you will have to make it. Geektool won't make a gradient as far as I'm concerned. If you just want a transparency, there is an option for that in that item's settings. It's not hard, open your eyes really wide.
