I liked the bit about Siri having a sense of humour. It's not something I'd expect from Apple, more something you see from Google, but it's a nice touch.

Apple is just some unhip, humorless company.![]()
Wow. Looks like a screen downgrade. That thing looks very washed out.

Agreed. Is this the issue for this gen?
Just been browsing the pics for a while, they look great, the well lit ones are possibly the best I've seen from a phone. The low light ones seem a bit disappointing though, they show a lot of noise.
Here's a 4S pic (bottles) vs a pic from the new HTC Titan (road):

I get that they aren't exactly the same light conditions, but the iphone pic just doesn't look as good to me. Can any camera experts weigh in on this?

I didn't say that, I said it wasn't something I expected. They don't partake in humour and jokes very often anymore.

Are you sure the HTC image wasn't post-processed?
More importantly you cannot compare two different images (for image quality) when they were taken at different times, lighting conditions, definitely at different settings and different subjects.![]()
Not the same lightening. In contrast, other photographers are impressed by what I can do with the 2010 iPhone 4.
Here's a photo taken with the iPhone 4 (NOT iPhone 4S). Resized to same pixel size, output to similar file size, no image adjustment or filters.
Note that my photo is a close up, so camera shake might be more apparent (compared to street shot).
Oh and it's hand held, no camera flash.
