Never Ender
I left the house at around 5:30PM and I came back at about 9:30PM. I opened the top and I heard the fans running. I found that odd, I put it to sleep and the sleep indicator was lit. I then touched the left palm and it was HOT!! Why would my MBP be running so hot if it was sleeping. The CPU/GPU area of the comp. (near the top of the keyboard) was extremely hot, I would say in the 180*'s. Now...why would my MBP be doing this...while sleeping?

Any help would be great.

Your computer probably didn't fall asleep. It was on all the time! When putting your computer to sleep next time, you should watch the sleep light and verify it is pulsing before you go away.

It was...when I came back I looked and it was.

Was it actually pulsing? If the display went to sleep then the sleep light would glow constantly whilst the computer itself would have stayed on. And with the lid closed, most of the vents would be blocked and heat would have built up.

I'd say keep an eye on it for a while and double check it's sleeping before you leave it...
