This is really buging me now, 10.6.3 still didn't fix the error 36 issue

Unless I am doing something wrong, I have a home networked Windows shared drive, and the copying error 36 issue still not fixed in 10.6.3 release, what's up Apple

Really annoying... I have a FAT32 USB drive so I can use it anywhere. Well, anywhere but OSX when I copy folders with subfolders.

Not good at all since it's been a known bug for a long time

Weird. I wasn't affected by this issue (in 10.6.2 and 10.6.3), and I use a FAT32 USB drive all the time. My advice would be to check permissions on the folders you're trying to copy. If you can't read them, you can't copy them either.
