I can understand that site traffic is probably high, but there is no reason during non-peak internet hours, Apple's Online Store continues to crash. I have been trying intermittently over the past 2 hours with no success ... I'm almost resorting to just using AT&T ...

I'm with you on this one. I've pre-ordered all of my iPhones for home delivery, & picked up my iPad at a Best Buy later in the day of launch. I really wanted to experience a launch at an Apple store, but I'm not willing to wait around all day to pre-order. Ugh. AT&T may just be the way to go.
