Picture says it all :D Im amazed how easy this was...the dell booted up OSX like it was nothing new. Everything pretty much works normally. I just might wipe windows of the drive and keep OSX on here for good =)

And why is it illegal? I dont see anywhere in the user license that says "Do not install on Dell"

No you're right it doesn't say that. Instead it says that the software is only licensed to be installed on Apple hardware (the specific wording can be found elsewhere in the Apple vs Hackers front page topic).

So yes it is illegal. Also do not be surprised if Apple break this "compatibility" with every update, and if they do don't come whining here.
 
heh heh - look carefully at the pic, it's missing a key on the keyboard. At exactly the correct position for a windows or Apple key... is someone taking the cross-platform thing a bit far? :rolleyes:
 
In fact what you said was the future was approximately 3 hours ago, when you posted it.... (I'm being stupid, please mind me...) I do believe that supporting this project though will eventually lead to the creation of viruses and Trojans, when more people have Mac OSX installed on wintel hardware, hackers will think hey people are getting away from us.

And how well does it run? Quicker than my 733mhz iBook I bet :p
