I had the OS 3.0 installed with the 5.0 carrier file for AT&T. I got the 3.1 build and "updated". After doing that I noticed the tethering was still there, yet MMS was not. So I figured I would "restore". After doing that I noticed that MMS appeared, yet tethering and carrier settings are now gone. I attempted to send an MMS and it worked. I can send and receive through AT&T on the regular messaging plan, not the iPhone plan. In order to change that you can do it on your account online. Last week I was looking at my features on my account and noticed that there was another unlimited messaging plan that "AT&T recommends" which was separate from the iPhone plan. So I switched it which I believe has given me the ability to MMS.

Trying to figure out if tethering will come back maybe?
