It’s like other aspects of the camera where a certain degree of knowledge and skill make all the difference. That person may not have tapped to focus to get the best light source, probably didn’t keep an ultra steady hand, possibly moved the phone prior to finalization, etc. Night mode is far from simply point-and-shoot.
This is what happens when you ask a random person to take a photo who doesn’t have the iPhone 11 pro and doesn’t know how to use it.
Haha. Yeah. I run the finale party. Is that freaking Jackson and Michi from Big brother??? 😂😂

So instead of quickly reviewing the photos and teaching a stranger who was doing you a favour how to use night mode, you made a post about it on MacRumors.com to whine? Ok
My friend always includes his finger in every shot. Guess he wants to get into every picture. You’ll always find somebody who’s going to be overwhelmed even with a point and shoot camera.
Maybe you should have explained the process.Haha. Yeah. I run the finale party.
but the point is that most people who don’t have the phone don’t know to wait for the time to count down. I am annoyed at how bad these pics came out.
yup and also in an effort for other users here to see that it isn’t just a point and shoot feature and that whoever is taking the photo needs instruction.

This was probably the first time he asked someone else to take a picture in night mode. Cut the guy some slack. This thread is meant to let everyone know that they may need to guide others on how to use it in similar settings.Yeah, couldn't OP tell the person to hold the phone for like 5 seconds after taking the picture?
