How is this "Bigger than Jailbreak" ?
This is what I was referencing:
While this might not yet be the “bigger than jailbreak” news or iOS 7 untethered jailbreak that some Twitter users have been speculating about, Hill told me that “this is just a small part of an ultimate plan.”

If he hates 6.1.3, he should jailbreak it so that people who hate iOS 7 don't have to upgrade to get a jailbreak. :D

You're right I don't. Enlighten me

He was kicked off the jailbreak team because of his attitude, he got his nose out of joint and revealed exploit(s), has an all around "doesn't play well with others" and a 'his way or the wrong way' attitude.

Cool. Sounds like just BS from around the web. I look forward to anyone doing anything that benefits users from jailbreaking or tweaking iOS software.

Wow, that was the bigger than JB thing?

You DO have to keep in mind though, that attitude really doesn't mean ANYTHING in reference to what he is doing. He's not the first or the only legendary prick to work on a dev team. ***COugh*geohot*Cough*** Yea, he's a prick, so was geohot, and so is i0n1c. At the end of the day, he's on a level greater than most.

Anyone who wants to bust on posixninja that badly either doesn't use a jailbreak, or doesn't realize where half the jailbreak tools CAME FROM.

I don't know what his plan is, and I don't pretend to, but taking history into account(more than just the last year), I am prepared to be surprised.

I think the idea is to have an open source repo so he can put his exploits out there in a central location which allows other hackers, who may have their own piece to the puzzle, contribute to this repo as well. This essentially would turn into a group effort where anyone with skills can contribute, even in a small way, to a potential jailbreak.

Essentially, it sounds like he's saying, "I have a bunch of exploits but not enough for a full jailbreak. Please contribute and help me put together all the necessary exploits for a jailbreak".

I could be wrong but that what this sounds like. We'll see how it plays out.

Interesting idea but what's stopping Apple or anyone else copying those exploits, bugs or leads from the repo and then getting them patched before the JB is even completed.
Doesn't make much sense to me, it shouldn't be something put out there in public.

No, it's not BS from around the web. There are people on MR who saw it first hand, but you've read one or two of his tweets and a website, so I'll defer to your knowledge.

So does everyone. That's not the point. The point is whether he delivers something bigger than jailbreak.

Nope, read up on twitter of @mussclenerd and p0sixninja, they had a major pissing contest awhile back.

Good point Juiced. What I said will never work because it will allow apple to always remain one step ahead. Hmmm I have no clue then. I won't have my hopes up that's for sure. Seeing is believing! Lets see what/if he can deliver. Ill reserve judgement until then.

Thanks for pointing out the hole in my logic. I made no sense haha
