I have a 13" Macbook Air with 4 GB of Ram (as seen in my signature). Why am I running so low on memory? I'm only running safari and a word document.

Be aware that your page outs, which indicate that you've maxed out your RAM, is cumulative since your last restart. Restart your computer to reset page outs to zero, then track page outs under your normal workload. If they're significant (say 1GB or more) under normal use, you may benefit from more RAM.

Also, you may have better success in attracting responses to your threads in the future, and you'll make your threads easier to find for those searching for the same answers, if you follow this tip.

Ah, I see! Thanks GGJStudios! This is what activity monitor is showing me right now. Let me see if the restart works!

Also, when you're tracking processes and CPU usage, change the "My Processes" at the top to "All Processes".

Alright, thanks, it worked! And sounds good, I'll change that up right now!
