I upgraded from a 15 Pro to a 17 Pro, and now all of the music I manually had put on the 15 (via iMazing) is grayed out and when I try and play it I get the message, "This item is not currently available in your country or region." I had setup my 17 using the automatic data transfer. But even stranger is that I just connected my 17 to iMazing, and even music I'm manually putting on the phone now is doing the same thing. I did not change countries or regions. Any idea what is going on and how to resolve this? Thanks!

Are you subscribed to Apple Music? Sometimes if you turn off auto renew and it expires it happens. It did that when my trial was over

I was subscribed for a few months but cancelled at least a month ago. Most of the music was my own files including YouTube rips that wouldn’t be matched by apple. What was the solution?

Ok that’s been ruled out.

Did you convert your music to proper file formats?

Did you use any Apple Music library conversion tools?

Nope and nope. These were my own files that were either mp3 or flac.

I'm noticing many songs in my library are giving this error too. I'm not sure when it started, but it was probably a while ago. I had noticed a song in one of my playlists wasn't available anymore, but didn't think much of it until I did some more digging just now.

My library is primarily albums/songs I've added through Apple Music or rips I've matched. For some albums, all songs are grayed out and give this error. For other albums, only certain songs may be grayed out. I can tap 'Show Complete Album' (even if I already had the entire album) and there they are…they're all available and playable.

Removing the broken albums/songs from my library and re-adding them fixes it, but why are they broken in the first place? Also, for some of them, 'Show Complete Album' takes me to the wrong album, so then I need to search to find the right one. A few of them don't even link to the album or artist, but they do exist in Apple Music.

I ended up just starting fresh. Most of the stuff I had are things I’ve got saved on Dropbox. It was stuff like live shows, kexp performances, etc. It didn’t matter if they were my personal files or not, everything was grayed out and would give that error.
