As I said before, I was going to upgrade to a 30 inch LCD. I was going to get the Apple but saw Dell 30 on sale on Dell Website. The Dell 30 Inch is $1,200 but the Apple one is $2,000. Does the silver bezel and the Apple logo really make it worth the extra $900? I'm also seeing Dell is releasing a 27 LCD with silver bezel and it look very stylish with the glass effect. I see Dell is catching on. However, the price really turns me off for a 1920 x 1200 resolution.

Just curious as I'm a newb to resolution sizes, what size(s) are "most wanted"?

Well that will depend on what you use it for. For most people resolution 1920 x 1200 for 24 Inch is big enough for everything. While other prefer largest screen size 2560 x 1600 for video, photo editing, gaming, and watch movie on it. The 30 inch is way overkill for my everyday task, but gaming just look so nice on this monitor.
