So, if Im using a Testflight version of the app installed on my iPhone, if I download Testflight on my MacOS and then download the same exact app, will it download MacOS compatible app or will it download iOS version of the app and if so do I need to find a MacOS compatible Testflight invite of the app.

It’s actually an interesting question. Unfortunately, I don’t think there is a definitive answer, as it depends on how the developer build the app and even on the method used to share it.
An example from Apple’s documentation:

Test iPhone and iPad Apps on Apple Silicon Macs

Using TestFlight, you can test iPhone and iPad apps on Apple Silicon Macs. This is set at the group level and will apply to all builds within the tester group.
To enable testing for a tester group:
  1. From My Apps, select your app.
  2. Click the TestFlight tab.
  3. In the sidebar, select the group you want to enable for testing.
  4. Under Test iPhone and iPad Apps on Apple Silicon Macs, click Enable.
Minimum macOS version compatibility is set in the Apple Silicon Mac Availability section in Pricing and Availability or the LSMinimumSystemVersion key in your build if you have opted out of making your app available on the Mac App Store.

Thank you for your reply, I dont have my Mac yet so I just wanted to ask this question beforehand. So if the app supports all platforms I should be able to just use the same Testflight invite link. So it kinda works like the app downloaded from App Store, where it will automatically download the correct version for your current platform youre on.

I know that Dark Noice app actually had 2 seperate Testflight links, 1 for iOS/iPadOS and 1 for MacOS. So thats why I wanted to ask this question.
