I mean literally. My new black 16GB black is very warm to the touch when in use. Does anyone else notice this?

My 4S get's pretty warm when in heavy use/facetime. I think it's normal...

Unless it's like uncomfortably warm/burning.

Computers get warm when used.

Yes I noticed it getting warm. With it being so thin I guess there isn't much between your hand and the source of the heat inside. It's not uncomfortably hot though

One of the first hands on a bit ago said that it ran warm, but not Hot nor too warm to hold. Longer one has it on the warmth will be more noticeable.

I suppose it's the same kind of warm as the new iPad?

I've been using the 4 up until an hour ago and I've noticed an alarming difference. I'm not trying to bash the product which I just bought two of, I'm just tying to see if I have a defective one.

i been using mine since 9 am this morning and it hasn't got warm yet, my 4s did get warm a lot but who knows time will tell i suppose!

Unlike glass, aluminium is a much better heat conductor. It's the reason why heat-sinks are machined out of aluminium. You're feeling the heat in the unibody because it's dissipating heat. The upside to that is that the internal will stay cooler.
