I was not sold on the whole retina thing when it first came out, which is why I had a couple of MacBook Airs over the years, then a year or so ago went for a Mac mini paired with a 21" Dell non-retina display.

Recently I have needed to go back to a laptop, and waited for the new models to be launched a few weeks ago and decided to go for a rMBP over a rMB or MBA.

This display is amazing. Even after a couple of days of use it still impresses me. I am currently merging some iPhoto and aperture libraries in preparation for Photos and viewing the pictures on this display makes me feel I am there again.

Force touch trackpad also good, and had some fun with the wife convincing her it was not actually clicking. Anyway, post over, it's all good :)

Retina is pretty sweet. I love my screen 1,000%
