this setting is enforced by an extension is what I get when I try to delete notifications like ..../.....http://docs.google.com, anybody had this and how did you solve it please.?

Do you have the extension installed? There's a Google Docs extension for creating/editing Google Docs. I don't see a setting in that extension to disable the notifications, I have it installed (by policy from being signed in with my company account) but I don't use it.
