He could be this good but they will never let a player like that get into College or Pro Basketball. It would change the game so much that it would no longer be fun for most fans. People want to see tall people run and jump.

They should try to make some money on the side on the skill though.

I agree cause this is not fake. In some shots you can see the shadow of the ball.

Cool, but they could have tried each shot a thousand times. It's called editing.

If it's a continuous shot then they shoul go pro.

Yep, most certainly a compilation from many, many attempts... but fun to watch

this isn't continuous. They have different shirts on.

the individual shots look continuous, meaning they are not 'fake'.

the compilation of course is not continuous and some of the shots took probably tens of tries. For others they likely move the basket around until they found the perfect set up (esp. bounces). Anyone with a moderate set of skill and a lot of time could do the same.
Still very entertaining to watch, and a well edited video.

Wow. I try to do stuff like that, and all I've managed to do was a double-pump tomahawk slam off a trampoline. ;)

this is awesome.

i suspect they tried to score the basket in the driving pickup from the roof but never got it. that would have looked cool. maybe a sequel?;)

Yeah, it's definitely possible to do those shots if they just cut out all the times they missed. ;)

I used to be really really good at "throwing" the ball through the hoop. I could hit half-court shots, or further, quite easily by throwing it overhand.

pretty cool. although judging by the daylight these shots definitely werent first or second try but took all day. 2:47 probably seems to them it would be hard but would be just like shooting on the ground due to Newton's First Law.

looks like an awesome college house. whats a College Station btw? is it an estate of houses in a college city?

I remember one time in PE class someone said they'd give me $5 if I made a halfcourt shot without heaving it or anything.

That was awesome.

College Station is the town where Texas A&M University resides. I was about to comment that this video would be cool except that the guy's wearing a friggin' Aggie t-shirt (I'm a University of Texas grad - we don't get along too well with the rednecks from College Station. ;) ).

Just because he can make long shots does not mean he'd be any good in college/pro. With his apparent lack of height and athleticism, he'd be getting swatted left and right.

Still, it is somewhat true that pure shooters don't do as well as more "showy" players. For instance, Trajan Langdon and JJ Redick of Duke were both lethal 3-point shooters, but can't compete in the NBA due to the lack of athleticism (which subsequently makes them poorer defenders).

That's brilliant, not only as a video of skill but also the patience and dedication they must have had to pull that off and put in the needed hours!

Hat's off

this is exactly it...

anyone who thinks hes getting these on his first attempt, i question their intelligence...greatly

anyone who thinks these guys should be playing in the nba or college clearly doesnt know anything about what it takes to play basketball either

OMG MORE SHOULD BE NBA PLAYERS

even more!!!

A friend of mine makes those shots all the time when we play basketball, its the most frustrating thing because he's impossible to guard, he just tosses it in behind his back or no look
