Good, maybe Alexander will be back next week then. I dont know what it was but they were really out of sych against the bears. Even the announcers were pretty shocked by their lack of performance.

You wouldn't think we were after the sterling performances we turned in the first two weeks... :) I really hate all of that preseason press sayin' we're going to the Super Bowl (and winning it)... it makes anything less than that seem a failure. I'd much rather fly under the radar and surprise everyone with success.

Trust me, the folks down here in Charlotte are still VERY critical of the Panthers' performance so far. We've won the last 2 games, but it almost seems like it's despite ourselves.

EDIT: Glad to see everyone picked the Pats over the Fish.. with one very crazy exception (2nyRiggz, I'm looking in your direction)

Now that Raleigh has the Stanley Cup (which I couldn't be happier about... I drove up to Raleigh this past weekend JUST to get my picture taken with the Cup), Charlotte has some catching up to do... even if they won't admit it out loud.

<grin> I went to a Bulls game to do this same when they brought it to Durham. Unfortunately they wouldn't let us get closesr than 5 feet so I couldn't read the 72' Bruins inscription. <sulk>
 
Every Friday I buy a USA Today and my wife and I pick the week's winners. This year I'm not doing to well, we're tied 2-2 going into week 5. I got totally schooled last week!
