Are you able to access your cellular account setting from the iPad?

I'm getting an error that states "Your account type does not support the view account feature."

Is this due to having a postpaid plan or is something wrong with my account?

Mine says that too. I can check stuff via the online account manager for my main line though. :)

Yeah, same here. I think we don't really have a "cellular" plan even though there is a dedicated phone number attached to it. It is just a data plan.

You can check all the info on AT&T's website through your account.

Thanks. I was hoping to be able to track usage from the iPad settings as prepaid users do. I didn't realize that isn't an option on postpaid accounts.

Can't seem to find an answer, but with Post or Pre... do you also get free access to AT&T wi-fi hotspots?

Cheers,
Sealos

I was told the option to view from iPad will never be available. You have to download the ATT iPhone app, then you can view the info.

I only have the post paid for the free one month promo anyways. Gonna cancel it once the free month is done and go back to pre paid.

Does anyone know how the post-paid plan works? I wandered all over the AT&T site and can't find hard data on prices. I rarely even go near 100mb every month because I always have wifi - was wondering if post-paid would be smarter.

if you go over on data, post paid would be cheaper.

i know 2GB is 25, then 1GB extra is 10 bucks.

while pre paid is 25 and then 25 extra again etc...

just stick with the pre-paid 250MB $15 plan. Seems right for you.

Cool thanks for the info! Yeah, unless I'm traveling, I'm always in a wifi zone, so I do my hoggy streaming stuff then. :)
