Those who bought an iPhone 4S in a Verizon Store - do they activate in-store?

Whenever I bought a new phone in the store, the rep would activate the phone right there...opening the box/removing stickers/etc. in the process.

Maybe I'm just OCD but this is why for my last two devices I've bought online rather than in-store. I don't want someone else touching my brand new device for the first time.

Do they still do this?

your just like me , I got mine in store and I told her i wanted to activate it at home and they just put it in the bag. So if u tell them u want to do it they will just give it to u nice and sealed.
