Hi,

I was wondering if anyone who's gotten a 15inch macbook pro recently (within the month or so), if you could help me find out the display model (9C84 or 9C85) and also if there has been any build problems?

To find display model: System Prefs > Display > Color Tab > Select color LCD profile > Open profile > Line 13, under model.

Thanks!

i got mine 12/31/08, which is a little older then you are asking but mine is

9C85

no issues with screen at all. it is clear, bright, and no issues

the laptop overall is perfect

Why post such a non-descriptive thread title?
Try giving some remote idea of what the thread is about, like "How to distinguish 15" MBP screens?" or suchlike.

unibody 2.53ghz macbook pro with a 9C85 lcd and has no problems like flickering, dead pixels, light leakage, etc...

9C85 here that I've had for a little over a month (Coconut Battery.app says the mac's about 3 months old).

Everything's fine with it.

I have a 9C84 and i have had no problems Ordered new unibody macbook pro only earlier this month. Coconut battery says it is 123 months old :/

I have a C84 and mine was built in october... What's the difference between the two screens?

My 2.4 I got on February 13 (Friday!) has the 84 and so far its very good. There is a bit of backlight bleed, but nothing that really bothers me.
