If you restore from the m1 mac to the new one, do you get to keep your sideloaded ios apps? I have a few that I do not want to lose by upgrading my mac.
Sorry, I am new to macs so I am not sure the correct way of saying it.Define “Restore”. If you use the built in migration utility then everything should come along for the ride.

Basically I have an m1 air with some apps that were sideloaded before the block. If I get a new mac I wanted to copy everything over from my current one to the new one in an attempt to move my sideloaded apps over.
Ok so the migration utility is my best bet. Thanks for the helpIf you use the migration utility then it should do everything.
When I migrated my 2015 MBP to my new Air it brought over every last bit of stuff - including the now useless 32 bit apps.
The worst you can do is try. It'll not change anything on the source MBP.
Just be patient with it. It took several hours to do my new Air. At one point it felt that it had seized but it did complete.Ok so the migration utility is my best bet. Thanks for the help
