Have anyone tried to upgrade their RAM to 6 GB or even to 8 GB (if that's even possible)?

Please let me know your suggestions or opinions! Thanks in advance! :)

Don't have one, but I know that 6GB is the max.

8GB could be supported in theory, but it'll make Leopard go crazy. Maybe later down the line they'll add support for it..

Thank you so much for your help on this. Now I can work on getting the RAM's. :)

Do you guys have any preferences on the RAM's? What's the best one so far? OCZ or Crucial is what I am thinking.

Anybody knows if the high end late 2008 macbook pro 2.8 ghz will support 8 Gb ram, because now all the pro models support it. It would be very bad from apple to support 8 gb of ram for the cheapest macbook pro 13.3 inc and not support it for the high end 15' 2.8 ghz pro only a 6 months old.
