Are you going to renew or still thinking about it.

I'm not planning on it I have been looking at the shows seeing if there is anything I want to watch before expire but really haven't found any. I will miss seeing Lasso season 2 but may do a month later on to catch it all.

Not going to renew, I liked a few shows but haven’t watched it at all in the last nine months. There’s nothing that has come out lately I’ve been interested in watching.

I'm torn. Mythic Quest and Ted Lasso are my two favorite shows. The former is ending June 25th with no news on renewal (which I find concerning considering how early Apple has been announcing renewals of shows). Lasso alone isn't enough to subscribe full time. Some of the other shows were "good", but not necessarily any better than other shows I can watch with my other streaming services. It is looking more like a subscribe a month or two a year deal to me. Yeah it is only $4.99/mo, but I already have too many services and it does add up and you can only watch so much content anyway!

Side Note: I was really hoping that they would continue adding months of service for free with purchases of different Apple hardware. I typically buy a few things a year (last year was a big year with an early 13" MBP, a M1 MBA, iPad Air 4, iPhone SE 2020, iPhone 12 mini) and this year I've purchased a 24" iMac.

I wasn't planning on renewing but there's a good few shows coming up that my wife and I are very interested in so it looks like we'll keep it for a few months at the very least.

Not going to renew, nothing on the horizon for me that is worth the subscription.
Also got an email reminder this morning that my subscription will renew July 1…
Time to pull the plug

I’m thinking of joining Apple One, but I don’t care for Apple Arcade. I only save a couple of £s a month with Apple One anyway. Still undecided

Cancelled. £50 per year for very little content is a waste of cash.

luckily Apple gives you warning so I’ve used it as a reminder to cancel Netflix and NowTV as well. That’s another £180 per year getting on for 25% of the price of a new iPhone.

outside of Silicon Valley, there is only so much cash to go around…

Question: so will Apple give another free year with a new device? Upgrading to iPhone 13 in the fall and my free year expires on 7/29 from an iPad purchase.

Is the annual price normally $49.99 or is that a promotion for ppl who had a free trial? I’m hoping our new Apple TV 4K arrives by June 30, 2021 so I can try to activate, under another Apple ID account and get another free year. does anyone know if one has to activate by 6/29, or is 6/30 enough?

The price for TV+ is $4.99/month or $49.99/year for anyone as a stand-alone service.

Definitely worth renewing for me, in fact I cancelled my other subs. Which admittedly, was only Netflix.
Quite a few shows I have enjoyed/am enjoying, and it leaves me optimistic for their future shows. Of course with the model they have, they have to keep producing really high quality stuff because they don't have the massive library to make up for it. If they slip for even a few months, I could see them losing a lot of subs.

Would cancel at the moment. When Masters of the Air comes, I’ll pay.

I pay 1$ iCloud and (will)pay 10$ for A-Music. I just haven’t got into free 3m Arcade trial. ATV+ right now isn’t worth it for me and neither is Apple One.

I would try Apple One individual if they let me swap the Arcade for News as I don't do gaming. Already apple music and 50GB subscriber

I understand that with bundling, you get some duds.

But if the margin is the same to Apple, Apple stands to sell way more Apple One subscriptions by allowing users to customize. For instance, if Apple would allow customers to create their bundle, I suspect Apple One would sell like hotcakes:

$4.99 services:
  • Apple Arcade
  • Apple TV+
$9.99 services:
  • Apple Fitness+
  • Apple Music Individual
  • Apple News+
  • iCloud 2TB
Pay $14.95/month and choose between (bold is the current bundle that cannot be customized):
  • (1) Apple Music Family + (1) $4.99 service + iCloud 50GB
  • (2) $9.99 services + iCloud 50GB
  • (1) $9.99 service + Apple Arcade + Apple TV+ + iCloud 50GB
For instance, iCloud 2TB + Apple Arcade + Apple TV+ + iCloud 50GB.

Pay $19.95/month and choose between:
  • (1) Apple Music Family + (1) $9.99 service + iCloud 200GB (obviously not Apple Music Family + Apple Music Individual)
  • (1) Apple Music Family + Apple Arcade + Apple TV+ + iCloud 200GB
  • (2) $9.99 services + (1) $4.99 service + iCloud 200GB
For instance, Apple Music Individual + iCloud 2TB + Apple TV+ + iCloud 200GB.

$29.95/month bundling does not need to change since you get everything, but maybe you can get 2 iCloud 2TB for 4TB storage instead of Apple Fitness+ or Apple News+?

Are you saying I can ala-cart certain packages?
