How are those of you who aren't using a screen protector on your iPhone 17 series phones holding up? Any scratches, abrasions? Just curios as I'd really like to take mine off but don't want it all scratched. Thanks!

holding up just fine.
I've never used a screen protector on any iPhone (3GS was my first), never had an issue. haven't even felt the need to wipe the screen yet.

The older phones definitely scratched and by older I mean as recent as the 16.

scratch as in micro scratch when the oleophobic coating wears off? Sute, I had that on my 13PM but it was only noticeable in direct sunlight at certain angles, certainly not bothering me, YMMV.
I've never had a "real" scratch

Yeah that's what I mean, scratches in the coating. They are still scratches though.

ok. as is said, none on mine that bothered me in day-to-day usage, and I spend several hours per day outside in Southern California under bright sun.
