In less than a week things will revert to the good old days.

No more moaning about: waiting in line; resellers in line; resellers on Craigslist; clueless Best Buy/Wal Mart staff; dead pixels; etc. etc.

And things will be back to normal.

In other words, an endless battle of wits between those demented and/or perverse enough to think that the next Android-powered crapbox is somehow going to put Apple out of the tablet business - and the rest of us.

...and then just when things start to calm down, Apple will announce an iOS 5 preview and everyone will be glued to the forums again. And of course then in June/July, iOS 5 and the iPhone 5 will come out and the cycle will start all over again.

How the hell did Apple manage to create such a monster? I cannot think of ONE other product that does this to people on such a large scale. Sure sometimes people wait for a new video game consol but it's never like this.
