I thought new Verizon lines had to pick a shared plan? I go to their web page and when I browse plans the only options I see are Share Everything Plans and Prepaid plans.

Yet when I order my Verizon Iphone 5(porting my number from AT&T) via Apple's website, I was able to choose the following:

Voice 39.99 (450 minutes)
Text: $10 (1,000 messages)
Data: $50 (5GB)

I do have a line with Verizon already, but didn't upgrade that line, did a new line and chose individual plans. I let my brother use the other line, and don't want our bills tied together, he pays his service separately, don't trust him in sharing data.

You CAN still get those individual plans, you just have to ASK for them. And Verizon is certainly NOT advertising that fact, since they want to push EVERYONE to their new share everything plan & get you jacked up into something you may not really want or need. It's easier and obviously more money for them, which is what they are all about nowadays.....such g r e e e e dy f r i g g i n b a s t a r d s they are...............
