I've noticed an issue with a few 3rd party iPad browsers (and potentially Safari) is the increasingly long contextual menu when you press and hold a link.

After hitting the wrong button by accident a couple of times, I wanted to see if I could improve this. Here's an example mock-up for iCab:

- 'Copy Address' button has been replaced into touching the link description itself.
- The Download icon replaces the 'Download File' option.
- The Photo icon consolidates the various 'Save Picture' options.
- And finally, the 'Open in Safari' and other miscellaneous options are consolidated as a sub-menu within the 'Export' icon.

What would be your impressions of a more minimal menu like this if it was adopted in iPad browsers, or even desktop browsers? Or is this maybe a non-issue for browsers currently and I'm over-thinking it?

I prefer the larger menu, do what you have to do with less menu structure. I also prefer words over icons. Sometimes the icons don't make sense, I have to think what it might do.
