Long time apple fan here. Handling my new 6 plus for the first time brought me back to the days of Apple under Scully and pre-returned Steve. I owned an Apple Newton and loved it. Ground breaking at the time.

Newton was easily was the size of 6 plus but clearly thicker in a velvet feeling plastic exterior. I kept that handheld in an old Eagle Creek bag that was slim and with an easy-slide pocket that was padded and that I had dedicated for Newton carry. Slid that puppy right in there from the top zippered access. There were a number of other clever zipped pockets for paper pad, keys and whatnot. Times changed; I sold my Newtons to collectors and eventually I trashed the Eagle Creek, that had survived multiple closet reorganizations since. I rue that day.

Eagle Creek for long hasn’t made that particular design since. Manhattan Portage bags come somewhere near it in a series of unisex small bags that easily hold a 6 plus along with typical purse or murse contents. Here’s a few.

I hope these come in handy for some plus users out there.
