Hi,

i was thinking of buying a macbook recently till i came across the prices (tax free!) on amazon, does anyone have any experience of buying new macs on apple, would i still get the same level of support?? - if i had problems with it would i still be able to take it into a apple store (during the warrenty period of course)

I have purchased from amazon.com there are no problems buying from them.
you will have do update the purchase date. it is very simple fill out an online form and fax the receipt in to apple. Just make sure you purchase from amazon themselves not someone selling on amazon. if you experience any problems just take it to the apple store. I have purchased my last 2 computers from amazon and will never purchase a standard configuration anywhere else.

I bought a new Mac Mini through Amazon a last week. It's great. Good price. I have never had a bad experience at Amazon.
