So I'm currently a CS major but not the real deal BS (bachelors of science) in computer science, I'm working towards a BA in multimedia and web development, still a CS major but less credits (and math). Everything I'm doing now, up until the end of this year, is coding in Java (with a little C too.) but then next year, I have a full load of web specific languages (Flex etc.).

Currently at the moment I can't change my major due to commitments with the Army (and I'm a year away from graduating) but I'm curious to see if anyone else went this route as far as getting a BA instead of BS in CS and

How did it all turn out for you?

What type of work do you do?

Freelance?

or

Some company?

Did you find yourself wishing you just went and got a BS instead?

I know that the average salary for a new grad is around 55k a year but that's assuming for the normal BS in CS (i think) and really have no idea what I could possible make in the real world.

I know this is a bit of a broad question and everyone has had different experiences but I'm just trying to plan ahead.
