somewhere over the rainbow
Ok so Lion is finally out so lets here everyones thoughts! is it a huge amazing change that you love or does it take away some functionality? (cough final cut) what are your favorite new features? just post your thoughts on Lion here!

I'm digging it in general. I think a trackpad is a must to be able to appreciate many of the features. It's a good thing I have one. Hahaha.

yea. im curious if anyone has tried out magic mouse with Lion. was wondering what multi touch gestures they implemented onto the mouse

Ditto. Wondering if this is a $29 upgrade or a $98 uograde because I'll have to add in the cost of a trackpad.

Lion is to Snow Leopard as Windows 7 is to Windows Vista, A minor cosmetic upgrade

The only bonus, apple is not trying to sell it at rip off prices (seriously, windows 7 cost is what made me switch to Mac)

The only new gesture is a 2 finger double tap to launch mission control but you can use BetterTouchTool to create more.

bollocks.

i have a magic mouse, you can swap between spaces with two fingers, (like in trackpad but with 2 instead of 3).

You can make use of smart zoom with 1 finger double tap.

back/forward gestures are also present, for safari and for pdf, preview etc.

No launchpad tho.

Has anybody used BetterTouchTool in Lion yet? I've lots of customized gestures I want to carry on using in Lion.

Loving the autosave and resume features, it did make me order the track pad though. Got to see what all the hype is about ;) Although gestures work just fine on the magic mouse.

Love, love, love the fullscreen apps and fast switching but I wish Chrome would open in a new screen.
