Has anyone traded in their MacBook through the Apple site when ordering a new one? I've used Gazelle before, but they're $200 less than what Apple is quoting. Anyone have experience with them?
Apple's offer for my 2018 15" was $1400. Mac me an offer offered me $1450. I took the Apple offer and applied it to my 16" MBP purchase. I also got a refund for $130 or so for the unused portion of AppleCare+. I probably could have gotten more elsewhere, but time really is money when you bill for your time.
I just used Apple to trade in a MacBook air 2018 last night. Checked your site this morning, glad to see it was $40 less than Apple. So it of course varies by trade in.
How was the process? Would love to sell my Pro but not really interested in replacing it or dealing with eBay/Craigslist for an extra $100 (the fees they have these days).
