So I ordered the 27 inch imac (First mac computer... switching from PC). I wanted to order the 3TB fusion but I need bootcamp to run games in Windows. I do a lot of photography so I need a lot of storage for the RAW files.
My plan with the 3TB was simply to get a simple external to back it up every night.
Since I had to get the 1 TB... I was looking at getting two externals. One for more storage and then another for backup... I started to look at RAID configurations and finally bit the bullet and purchased the WD 6 TB RAID with Thunderbolt... and the I ordered 2 3TB WD Green drives.
Should I have gone a different direction here or do you think I did ok? I hated to spend this much money on it but I would rather spend a little more and "do it right" I guess. B&H photo had the Raid drive for a lot cheaper than other retailers however.
Interested to hear your thoughts on this.
