Thoughts on Passbook?

I have to say I'm quite disappointed...and not because I don't know how to use it but because for others...it just doesn't make sense.

Would have preferred something like Newsstand. There would be a Passbook category in the App Store, you download the app it gets stored into the Passbook app like Newsstand.

What it really needs is developers to embrace it.
Then we can see if it's good, bad or in need of work.

The concept is solid. Once more vendors start supporting Passbook it'll make a lot more sense.
