thoughts: wireless displays - the logistics?

I was thinking, how feasible would it be for apple to produce a wireless display that synced with any computer. So that you could have a Mac pro, say, under the stairs, in a cupboard, wherever, and just have a display plugged in somewhere, linked to the computer.

is this possible?

thats what i thought, that there would be a lag.

its an interesting Idea tho.
