Instead sifting through the threads with iPhone X tangled in for pre-ordering, I think we should have a separate thread for pre-ordering (when it begins), ordering (when it begins), shipping updates (when they start shipping), and set-up on the various carrier networks. Until then we can discuss our plans of actions to ensure we get one on launch day.

I'm trying to decide if I will stay awake to 3am on 10/27 when pre-ordering starts to order from Apple site. Or will demand not be so great and I can go to Apple store on launch day to pick up one.
I also need information on Apple buying program.
