In Apple's own marketing pages for Big Sur, they show threaded messages working in the Messages app, just how it does on iOS 14.

I've been using the feature heavily in iOS, and love it.

After installing Big Sur, however, I opened my Messages app in macOS...and there's no threading in any of my iMessage chains.

Thought it might be a setting/preference, but doesn't appear so.

Just in case it might do anything, since I always have "Enable Messages in iCloud" ON, I tried "Sync Now"...nothing.

Did I miss something? Did Apple pull the feature? Anyone else experiencing this? I tried searching this forum first, no luck.

Are you referring to your previous messages that were threaded using your phone? If so, I don’t think the threading is applied retroactively. So messages that were received on devices before iOS 14 or Big Sur won't automagically be threaded to match your phone when they are upgraded. This happened to me on my iPad and Mac, and I'm also using "Messages in iCloud". New threaded messages will show up correctly though.
