I have a Macbook Pro 2019 (Retina, Model A2141) that already came with the "all-new" internal magic keyboard and not the dreadful butterfly keyboard.

Not long ago, the three adjacent key Q, W and E stopped working which renders the laptop useless since I don't want to lug around an external keyboard all the time. I've already removed the key caps and hinges from the keys, cleaned everything properly but none of them work any longer. All other keys work perfectly fine, it's just that small cluster of three keys that stopped working for some reason.

Has anyone experienced the same? Any ideas what the reason could be and how to fix it other than replacing the top case?

I saw that the keyboard uses rivets instead of screws, so changing just the keyboard seems quite the hassle. I've done this myself with an older Macbook Pro and replaced the rivets one by one with small screws that came with the replacement keyboard but it took me ages and apparently the 2019 Retina keyboards are even more difficult to replace.
