I've learned to love the implementation of three finger drag with my Mac Air trackpad, but I've had a recurring issue that I thought I'd ask about.
Often times, immediately following an action involving a three finger drag, I'll "left-click" (one finger click) on an item and see that it has registered as a "right-click" (two finger click) instead. The problem then persists, locking me out of left-clicking until I use two fingers to right-click elsewhere on the screen, which unlocks the problem. I assumed it was a bug regarding the multi-touch actions, but was wondering if there's some way to keep the right-click action from locking up on me.
The only solution I've come up with myself is to recognize when it seems to happen most (like when I use Microsoft Word) and to use double-click to drag in those instances. But that's just avoidance, not a real solution.
Any thoughts?
Currently I'm using Mavericks 10.9.3 on a Mid-2013 MacAir, but the problem also existed on my late 2010 MacAir, for as long as the three finger drag has existed.
