download and install multiclutch and the three finger swipe feature will work in firefox too.

i did that and i love it. i have a swipe left goes back 1 page, swipe right forward. 2 finger zoom and zoom out.
swipe down closes a tab and swipe up opens a new tab.

You could always just use "minefield" I have been using it for over a month and it has all the multi touches enabled. Pinch/zoom, navigation scroll up/down top/bottom, switching tabs with a two finger rotate... and more. It is great

Multitouch needs to be coding in the software to work. Which is why it works in Lightroom 2, but not Aperture 2.

Mind sharing which known software has multitouch/multiclutch support? :D
