Three Lakers players overslept due to faulty iPhones

Were it three GOOD Lakers players then maybe it would've made a difference. Seriously...who cares about Luke Walton?
 
Let me get this straight.....

3 guys, that are making millions of dollars to play a game, were late because an alarm didn't go off.

Maybe its me, but if I was making that much and it was imperative that I be to work on time, I'd have more than just a cell phone alarm clock.
 
I'm having a hard time with this one.

When antennagate happened, everyone blew up about it.
When text messages don't get delivered, at&t sucks.
Every scratch, light leak, and rattle in an iPhone becomes a major issue around here.

But the fact that the alarm clock keeps breaking is a good thing? And don't tell me I'm missreading this one thread...I've seen several threads now that basically consist of 90% of the posters taking joy in the fact that this is happening and making fun of people who want to use an iPhone for anything other than web browsing.

Sometimes you people confuse the $%*# out of me.

Not sure who you think is taking joy in this....im on this forum because i love all things Apple and posted this because it was iPhone related.

Excqueezeme? One of those players was Pao Gasol. Walton stinks but Pao is phenomenal, no matter what you think of the Lakers, who stink right now. They will probably still win the title again, but they should be 35-0 with the team they have. Really annoying.

They do. But their assistants probably had iPhones too and overslept :D

Haha....THREE good players. I know Pao is good but his skills/ability is negated by the simple fact that Luke Walton was mentioned in the same article. Whoever the mystery third person was really doesn't make a really. NOW, were Pao, Kobe and (insert your the third good player here) the three players that overslept, THEN this would be over sensationalized and plugging every website/newspaper/Twitter page on the planet.

Yeah, but you're not a multi-zillion dollar athlete who's been out partying all night with tons of hot chicks. Hrm, I guess that's not really a good excuse.
