Ok first i need to say that these are problems only with my 3G phone. my edge iPhone never had any of these problems.

1. Today My phone erased all of my Music/Pod Casts/Video & all 3rd part apps... very odd. and no reason for it at all. once they where there the next second they are gone!! odd. it would act like i t was firing up a program then die. only the original iphone stuff stayed.

2. In the Car and only in the car.... when i plug it in for charging it will charge for a 1/2 second then stop then start then stop then start..... and so on for a while till i fiddle with the cables (haven't found any one motion or position that stops or starts this.....) i have used different cables/chargers/cars.... same problem. i have even check the voltage from the car and from the charger. no more then a .2 V change at any one time. every thing from 500RPMs to 5000RPMS (Red Line - Diesel)

3. My service is kind of half assed. some times i get full bars other times i get none and it dies for no reason. some times i get 3G other times i get Edge and even others i get a blue box with a little while dot in the middle...? i seam to be getting a lot of dropped calls.

wondering if any one has had problems with any one of these problems. don't get me wrong i still love the iphone and i know that its still kind of a work in progress. and the usableitly (not sure if that a word) far out way any problems i've had.

PS. I used a solar charger today i got for charging in the middle of nowhere and it worked for a while but then i got the feeling that it was draining power when the sun left rather then just not charging the phone. i work with Solar panels and i know power can flow back into a panel and be expelled as heat in the panel. what i need to know is can you draw power off the phone? if so a simple diode can solve this problem
