I consider myself a "Pro" user since I rely on high ppi for seeing 4K content as it's filmed.

However, I agree completely - tried out a XR and found it perfectly usable.

Just not for the "20%" of avid tech users who notice the difference. XR's great for apps, photos, decent for video (blacks could be better), etc.
 
I have never understood what people find lacking on iPhone screens. They want to complain about the tech, but even their LCD screens hold up so well.
 
I always think the screens looks great on iPhones. It's only when I pick up my dad's Samsung that I'm like, 'holy sh*t' that's what a high end screen looks like!

Just a matter of comparison. iPhone screens are great, would it be nice if they were the best looking on the market? Sure, but who notices day to day.
