Hi all, yep im a noob to all things mac here. I just got a 17 MBP 8,3.
I DJ and do live visuals on my MBP, I need 2 monitor's out from my MBP. I had an idea to use a thunderbolt display for the person running my visuals and then plug in my thunderbolt to VGA (or HDMI) adaptor to the out on the monitor then i can hook up projectors to that... But am i right in my understanding that it wont work?
This would be ideal because of the port hub on the back. More usb's for all my Midi controllers

I also got a matrox triplehead2go and i can just use that and a cheaper monitor. but i really want this then (http://www.maclife.com/article/news...ress_dock_no_expensive_apple_display_required). and i dont know if its just vapor ware.
Anyway, do i have to use the triplehead2go to get 2 monitors out?
